A spokesperson for Lopez has confirmed that the singer and actress will not renew her recording contract with Sony/Epic. Via her spokesperson, Lopez sent this message to the media:

“I am making this statement to put an end to any confusion in regards to my next album, titled ‘Love.’ I have belonged to the Sony family since the beginning of my career as a singer and together we’ve had great success. I have fulfilled my contractual responsibilities with Sony/Epic up to this point, and we have both reached friendly terms about my departure from the label. I’m also happy to say that we’ve found a new home for my album, ‘Love,’ and that it is slated for release in the summer of 2010.”

Though she wouldn’t reveal which label will release her album, Deadline.com, which originally reported the split, said Lopez was rumored to be in talks with Island Def Jam’s L.A. Reid. She is also still scheduled to perform and host “Saturday Night Live” this weekend

“I like the quiet, but I don’t like the dark,â€� Contactmusic quoted Lopez as telling In Style magazine.

“We have everything on dimmers so I kind of trick myself into the darkness. Marc always turns off the lights after he comes to bed. I’m usually sleeping – or he waits till I fall asleep and then turns them off,” she added.

Lopez and Anthony have been married for five years and the star admits their relationship, like any, “takes work”. She keeps reading books about successful marriages and relationships.

“I’m constantly trying to figure love out. It’s the never-ending question – what is the key to love? I’m old enough to know now that relationships take work. That’s it’s not an easy thing,” she said.

“I thought the weight was going to drop off easily because I had been in shape my whole life. But it wasn’t easy. It was an uphill struggle I had gained about 60 pounds during pregnancy,” said Lopez.

“I don’t see myself having any plastic surgery. I don’t know how I will feel when I am older. But I am more of a natural person and I believe in beauty not being an outside, physical thing. Luckily, I’m used to seeing myself everywhere now that I am no longer obsessed about the way I look,” she added.

“I have to say I feel awesome! I feel the same way I felt when I was in my 20s,” said the 40-year-old who is married to Marc Anthony.

“I hate being away from my kids. But we have devised this thing where I can see them on the computer. I call up on the web camera so I can see the babies while I am away and I just look at them,â€� Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

However, while the 40-year-old star enjoys speaking to the twins via a webcam, she has admitted that it can be upsetting and confusing for her 18-month-old daughter Emme to see her mother talking to her on a computer screen.

“It is so sweet – my son just stares at the camera and looks. And then my daughter just starts crying when she sees me on the screen. She holds out her arms to me and gets very upset. It breaks my heart if I am away from them even for a short time,â€� said Jennifer.
