Singer Ciara wants to follow in the footsteps of her style icon – actress Jennifer Lopez. “I don’t have many style icons, but someone I do love is Jennifer Lopez, she always looks great, she’s amazing,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying. The singer says she wants to release her own fragrance just like Lopez.

“I would love to have my own fragrance like she does, I want to do everything. I want to be one of those entrepreneur-type people who does a bit of everything,” she added.

The singer-and-actress – whose engagement to the movie star ended hours before they were supposed to wed in September 2003 – was left heartbroken by their split and ended up “not quite the same person” she was before they started dating.

She said: “I don’t think I had ever been heartbroken in that way before – had so many hopes and dreams on something. This was the first time and it was tough. When you go through that kind of heartbreak in front of everybody you are not quite the same person you were before.”

Jennifer Lopez loved teaming up with Tom Cruise at MTV Movie Awards. At the ceremony, Cruise, 47, took to the stage as his Tropic Thunder alter-ego Les Grossman, a potbellied film producer. “Working with Tom was amazing!” Lopez told US TV show Extra.

“I’m such a hard worker, and I’m kind of intense about my job. It’s great to work with someone who is just as intense and passionate and crazy about getting everything right.” A month before the show, Cruise called Lopez, 40, personally to convince her to join him on stage.

Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony are to renew their wedding vows after almost six years of marriage. The couple – parents to twins Max and Emme – are said to be planning a romantic ceremony next month at their home in California. According to US Weekly, they wanted a special celebration to mark their time together.

The Hollywood duo are rumoured to be on the list of possible new judges for Simon Cowell’s US version of The X-Factor.

She’s been J-Lo, Jenny from the Block and Lola … but Jennifer Lopez says her latest incarnation as a happily married mum-of-two brings her the most fulfilment.

Having made her name as an actress, dancer, designer and entrepreneur, the star beams with pride when asked how she balances a musical comeback with being mum to two-year-old twins Max and Emme.

The 40-year-old singer, who is about to release new album Love?, says motherhood is the role she is most proud of and that she and husband Marc Anthony can’t help but dote on their kids.

She said: “You always think you’re not going to be that person but then you are.

“It is so funny. When I’ve been rehearsing, the kids are down there every day and it’s just nice. They sing, they dance, they know my songs already.

Jennifer Lopez’s “Louboutins” have walked away from her record label.

A spokesperson for Lopez has confirmed that the singer and actress will not renew her recording contract with Sony/Epic. Via her spokesperson, Lopez sent this message to the media:

“I am making this statement to put an end to any confusion in regards to my next album, titled ‘Love.’ I have belonged to the Sony family since the beginning of my career as a singer and together we’ve had great success. I have fulfilled my contractual responsibilities with Sony/Epic up to this point, and we have both reached friendly terms about my departure from the label. I’m also happy to say that we’ve found a new home for my album, ‘Love,’ and that it is slated for release in the summer of 2010.”

Though she wouldn’t reveal which label will release her album, Deadline.com, which originally reported the split, said Lopez was rumored to be in talks with Island Def Jam’s L.A. Reid. She is also still scheduled to perform and host “Saturday Night Live” this weekend
